Property Pioneers: Wayne van der Vent – The Property Enchanter and Bread Baker Extraordinaire

In a realm known as South Africa, a legal scholar named Wayne van der Vent embarked on a journey that would lead him through realms of property magic and culinary enchantment.

Armed with a degree in BA (Law) from the University of Cape Town, Wayne’s story took an unexpected turn when he delved into in-house legal work for Monex to repay his bursary. Little did he know, the path he trod would be one of wonder and awe.

With the wave of his wand, Wayne conjured the Community Property Fund at FutureGrowth, a kingdom of township retail that stood as a testament to his magical prowess.

But the most enchanting chapters were yet to unfold. As the head of properties at the PIC, Wayne donned the mantle of ACSA’s chairman, overseeing the mystical transformation of South Africa’s airports for the 2010 World Cup. His powers transcended mere mortals, leaving a mark on history.

In the year 2011, Wayne cast a spell like no other, orchestrating the purchase of the V&A Waterfront for a spellbinding R10-billion. His deals were incantations woven into the fabric of reality.

Yet, his enchantments weren’t limited to property. When he stepped away from the mystical world of deals, Wayne found solace in the art of bread baking. His loaves were more than mere sustenance; they were magical creations, shared with friends who marveled at his culinary wizardry.

In 2014, Wayne returned to the world of property to conjure Quoin Online, a digital realm that forever altered the landscape of his chosen domain.

While not immersed in his magical world of property, Wayne indulged his passions for cars and Lego, proving that even wizards have whimsical hobbies.

And so, the tale continues, with Wayne van der Vent, the Property Enchanter and Bread Baker Extraordinaire, leaving a trail of wonder and magic wherever his adventures take him.
